Eileen’s Favourite Things

I need a journal that can hold up to some hefty fountain pen ink and the occasional watercolor- this is the one that does it. Plus, with the index I can leave myself notes so I can find things again.

Oh, how I love me some office supplies. I use these when reading to mark pages. So many great colors!

I do love fancy ink. If you want to play with color this is a great starter set.

Want to up your journaling game? I use these when I want to add just a bit of color. They work like pencil, but if you run a wet paintbrush over it the color will blend/spread.

This was THE tea while I wrote my most recent book, although I love all their flavors.

Want to try a fountain pen? This one is a great value and writes great. I know many writers who have this workhorse in their pen collection.

Crystal’s Favourite Things

I have these in pink/rose gold and love them. However, if you wear post earrings, or glasses, or don’t like things squishing your ears the studio ones that go over the ears are better as they don’t push on your ears.

My favourite eReader of all time is the Kobo Libra 2 as it’s waterproof and I have zero fear about bathtub, reading in the rainy outdoors or spilling my water on it. The added bonus that I can read library books which I check out directly from my device makes it a no-brainer 🙂

These are currently my favourite “big ideas” notebooks. I invest in a book for each big project. Love the lines, the way they lay flat, I can write on both sides of the page and when I highlight stuff like crazy it doesn’t bleed through. Very satisfying to write in, and does great with my Lamy pen. I have had both the black and the grey for various projects, and use label tape for the spines to indicate time period or project.

Portable wireless keyboard that works as a stand, and will work with multiple devices. I love using this to be able to write anywhere the mood strikes, and on any device that has scrivener or my notes docs installed. Turns my lap into a functional desk no matter where I am 🙂 I’m on my 2nd one of these as I’ve been using them for over 15 years and I burned the first one out recently and had to rebuy! It lasted for ages and I hauled it around everywhere.

Ultimate refill pack for Lamy pens – cartridges. These work great, are affordable and lets me easily switch colours in the one fancy pen that I have.

My favourite, go to, everyday pens for the past decade+

Device stand that works with all kinds of devices, and is super handy for watching how to type tutorials while I do things. If you have a wireless keyboard that doesn’t hold your device, this is a lifesaver. I also use it to hold the ipad while recording audiobooks.

Stephanie’s Favourite Things

A funky way to get your To Be Read Pile off the ground.

If you a Mac girl like me and like a little colour as you type, this keyboard cover is for you and bonus it comes with a carrying case.

What writer doesn’t need a typewriter pen and pencil holder?

Rid your office of that negative self talk and shed some light on the situation at the same time.

If you don’t sit in your chair properly like me you may want to invest in one of these pillows so you can rest up for your next day of writing.
